Beam Global: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Beam Global (BEEM) on Friday reported a loss of $2.8 million in its second quarter.
The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 19 cents per share.
The company posted revenue of $3.7 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.2 million.
Beam Global shares have fallen almost 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $17.69, a decrease of 40% in the last 12 months.
